Who am I doing this for is that perfect question to ask yourself. It makes me think about an amazing book by Amira Mittermeier called <em>Giving to God. </em>Which is about Islamic charity in Egypt following the 2011 Revolution, but applies broadly across the religious spectrum. She really focuses on the idea of giving on behalf of God, rather than on behalf of yourself. Worth a read!]]></content:encoded>
