Mike’s career as a financial advisor spans over 3 decades. He is the Founder and CEO of Legacy Wealth, a boutique financial services firm focused on serving clients by providing timeless wisdom and counsel for all aspects of their planning, in order to remove the anxiety and uncertainty that so often surrounds financial decisions and replace it with joy and contentment.
Drawing on Mike’s many years of experience, Legacy Wealth has developed both a unique focus on wealth transition planning and a sophisticated values-based approach to asset management. Mike has acquired wisdom and experience in helping his clients not only manage the legacies they have built, but also in helping them transition their wealth to future generations and charitable organizations that are meaningful to them.
Mike has acquired many professional designations throughout his career, which speak to his knowledge and experience in planning. These designations include a Master’s Degree in Financial Services, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Accredited Estate Planner, Accredited Investment Fiduciary, and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. He has also accomplished numerous industry achievements, such as his 17-time membership in the prestigious “Top of the Table” in the Million Dollar Round Table, which represents the top half of 1% of advisors in the industry. He has been voted a top Wealth Manager by Five Star Professional for the last five years, is a Qualified Advisor with Kingdom Advisors, and he is a member of multiple industry-affiliated organizations, including M Financial Group. He currently sits on the Member Firm Relations Committee with M Financial Group.
Mike lives in Woodbury, MN with his wife of 35 years, Debbie, their nine children, and ten grandchildren. He currently serves in several community- and ministry-oriented capacities as a member of governing boards and councils, including the Bethel University Board of Governors and Board of Trustees and the Hope Academy Board of Directors.
